   They are harder by far. Easier to aim, but much much harder to master. That’s why most E-Sports shooters are on PC instead of console. The skill ceiling is increased because the APM ceiling goes up a ton. Also, most PC shooters (Quake, Counter strike, Team fortress, etc etc.) are faster paced than their console counterparts such as Call of Duty. CoD may require fast reaction time, but if you watch it at a competitive level it’s very clear how much slower it is than Quake just due to the limitations of the platform.

   @Continuous – Console versions are harder to play in the sense that the controls are far less intuitive. But again, that’s part of why playing at the professional level on PC is harder than for console. Because reaching that skill ceiling on consoles is possible due to the limitations in the hardware. But on PC the games evolve for 10+ years before people cap the skill ceilings.
